Friends of the High Point Theatre:
Who are the Friends?
The Friends of the High Point Theatre is a non-profit organization that supports not only the High Point Theatre, but also the local performing arts in various ways. They provide ushers for events at the theatres in addition to providing the theatre with resources to improve the services offered.
The following is a list of some of the activities the Friends have sponsored in the past:
- Fundraisers such as the Murder Mystery and a Cabaret show
- Scholarships for local high school students in the performing arts
- Annual all-membership meeting and Volunteer Awards Banquet
- Holiday Party and decoration of the High Point Theatre lobby
