Sunday, February 25, 2007 -- Band shows significance of city remembering Coltrane
Thanks to the Enterprise as well as the High Point Theatre for sponsoring the USAF Heritage Band. This was a phenomenal musical exhibit and entertainment! Thanks to Latimer Alexander for giving this band a proclamation from the city!
The citizens of this area were able to experience a musical performance that was exciting and arousing. You could feel the enjoyment of this band's efforts, drills and discipline as they uniquely stimulated the audience in this free performance. This band group also commented on the John Coltrane statue, and some members had their pictures made with our Coltrane statue. Does this not speak highly of this fantastic band enjoying High Point?

Saturday, February 24, 2007 -- Patriotism was on display during USAF band concert
I just wanted to thank the High Point Enterprise and High Point Theatre for a wonderful evening concert by the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band celebrating their 60th Year Celebration.
The majority of the audience were older adults who showed our enthusiasm for every piece played. The vocalist, MSgt. Verlie Vigil, was great and set the audience on fire. Patriotism was alive and well, especially at the end when each veteran and family stood up when the band played each service anthem.
Thanks again.

Kudos to the High Point Enterprise, the High Point Theater and the City of High Point for scheduling the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band.
What a marvelous performance! You brought enormous pleasure to the very many of us who were privileged to attend this tremendous production.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
