Where is the theatre located?
The High Point Theatre is located in downtown High Point, North Carolina, at 220 East Commerce Avenue. The theatre is in the northeast corner of the International Home Furnishing Center building. Directions/Map      top

Where should we park?
Parking is available on the street, in the parking deck next to the Best Western Hotel (show your ticket stub - pay $1.00); in City Hall spaces at the corner of Hamilton & Commerce and Hamilton & E. Green; in IHFC Parking Lot opposite City Hall on Commerce Avenue. Parking      top

Who do I call about lost and found property?
Articles lost during a performance are turned into the box office. Please call 887-3001.      top

Can I receive an emergency call?
Anyone expecting emergency calls is asked to leave his/her seat location with the House Manager. The phone number to be called for emergencies is (336) 883-3625.  As a courtesy to other members of the audience, the theatre management requests that all beepers and cellular phones are silenced while you are in the auditorium.       top

What is the theatre smoking policy?
Smoking is prohibited in the High Point Theatre. A sidewalk area near the High Point Theatre's front doors is available for use by our smoking patrons.      top

May I bring my own food and drink to the show?
No, you cannot bring food or drinks into the facility.  The Theatre has a  concession stand located in the Main Gallery that is open before events and during intermission with a selection of snacks and drinks. All food and drink must be consumed before entering the auditorium. No food or drinks (except bottled water) permitted in the auditorium.      top

What about late seating?
Theatre management reserves the right to seat latecomers at its discretion.      top

May I take pictures or record the show?
For the majority of our events, the taking of pictures and/or using tape recorders is strictly prohibited. Any patron who brings a camera or recording equipment into the theatre may be asked to leave it with the House Manager. This equipment will be returned to the patron after the event is over.      top

What facilities do you have to accommodate people with physical disabilities?
The High Point Theatre is equipped with a hearing assistance system. A patron may request a headset receiver from the lobby ushers or the House Manager. A wheelchair ramp into the first floor lobby is located to the left of the theatre's front doors. All lobby bathrooms are handicapped accessible. Our lobby and auditorium smoke detection system is equipped with both visible and audible alarms.       top

I can't make it to the show. Will you refund my tickets?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds are granted. Exchanges are only possible when a third party producer has multiple performances of the same show, and then only 24 hours prior to the show for which you have already purchased a ticket. In these cases a $5.00 exchange fee per order will apply.      top

Does my child/infant need a ticket if he/she sits on my lap during the show?
All patrons attending a performance at the High Point Theatre are required to have a ticket, regardless of age.      top
